Through the Hidden Talent in Devon and Strategic Employer Engagement in Devon projects, with funding from the European Social Fund, Petroc will be offering fully funded * CMI Level 5 Awards at our North Devon campus. The courses are fully certificated through the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and comprise of a one day training course, followed by the completion of a written assessment. Delegates will be given one month from the date of the course to complete the assignment, with all written work to be submitted by Monday 6th January 2020 at the very latest. *Fully funded for SME's with less than 250 employees and not exceed an annual turnover of 50 million Euros and have received less than 250 million in State Aid in the last 3 years.
Managing Change – Change is inevitable if an organisation is to maintain competitiveness and currency of practice. This unit has been designed to enable the learner to evaluate types and reasons for change within organisations and be able to select and apply theoretical models for its management. The purpose is not only to enable learners to develop the skills to manage change and achieve set objectives, but to do so in a professional manner with open and honest communication throughout the entire process. • Thursday 5th December • 9am-4pm • 3500-4000 word assessment

Managing Stakeholder Relationships - Good relationships, whether they are with customers, suppliers, partners or staff, are a key contributor to an organisation’s success. To build stakeholder relationships that are long lasting and sustainable, they need to be planned and developed. This unit explores the types and purposes of stakeholder relationships and the skills required to overcome challenges and manage these effectively. • Friday 6th December • 9am-4pm • 2500-3000 word assessment
